Building real pathways
for young people.

Empath CIC is a non-profit working across work, education, sport and culture — backed by research and a theory of change.

Our work

Skills Development and Cultural Identity.

Exploring Culture Through Skills Development is a series of 10-week programmes that connect young people's physical energy, creative potential, and cultural identity. Each pathway begins with non-contact boxing to build confidence, discipline, trust and self-awareness, before moving into personal development activities and pathways. Through this combination, young people explore who they are, where they come from, and how their interests can shape future opportunities — developing both technical skills and a deeper sense of belonging.

Second Corner

Safe, paid, age-appropriate first jobs for 13–16 year olds — a way to learn technical skills while still studying, and earn a stipend along the way.

10-week in-school programme

Three components woven into one: non-contact boxing for confidence, focus and mental wellbeing; a themed creative lab (digital, arts & entrepreneurship, or food culture); and financial education.

Cultural projects

Creative work that gives young people voice, identity and belonging — blending culture with technologies like augmented reality.

Theory of change

Change is made, not hoped for.

Every Empath programme is built on a simple chain: inputs lead to activities, activities lead to outcomes, outcomes lead to long-term impact in young people's lives. We measure, learn, and adapt. Our services are open to all young people — and they are built with those most at risk firmly in mind.
